This morning we are going to step back in time to the 1700`s and see pieces of history at Beaubears Island. Where we will get a chance to learn more about the island and what part it played here in New Brunswick.
We will be meeting our guide to hear about the island and then on our own in the museum.
This afternoon located at Ritchie Wharf, in the heart of Miramichi, you'll  find the "Max Aitken." This is when we will be taking our boat Cruise with our fully bilingual Captain Hache will be entertaining us with stories of the Acadian refuge and shipbuilding years. Touch history with on board living history displays. Discover why the river is so rich in history with fascinating stories of the river's past as a french fortification and Acadian refuge.
Ritchie Wharf there are places to sit & eat as you enjoy your lunch watching the beautiful river.
